Situated in Akhet, the Rusat Gairmuro – literally meaning the great book temple in Lysantho – is the largest repository of written text in the known world. The library is under the authority of the Temple of Galothel but the day to day running of the library is done by the temple’s slaves. Though the library is open to the public, the number of individuals allowed inside at any time is limited as visitors are always accompanied by a slave to preserve its sanctity. Those who wish to spend any more than a few hours in the library must make an appointment and, often a donation.

It is rumored that deep within the lower stacks of the library are tablets that even pre-date the age of the High Lords.
